Arriving by train

Zagreb’s Main Train Station (Glavni Kolodvor) is located at the base of a famous, beautiful rectangular park. Those arriving by train can travel by tram free of charge from the train station to the Main Square (Trg Bana J Jelacica) at the opposite (northern) end of the park.
The trams to use are the Numbers 6 or 13. Standing facing the park while standing at the entrance to the train station, the trams 6 and 13 for going to the main square will be pointedto your left. Take the tram two stops. You will arrive at the Main Square where you will get out.
Facing the statue of Ban Jelacic on horseback, you cross the square and enter a widepassage between a bank on the left and a set of stores on the right. You will see a set of stairs heading up to Dolac market once you are through the passage. Turn to the left without taking the stairs and follow the Tkalciceva Street around, past a small church on your right and some small cafes. You will see a sign on the right at a small intersection for Skalinska.
Turn right onto Skalinska, and ten or twenty meters up the short street on the right you will see a doorway marked SOBE (‘rooms’). Take the short set of stairs up, and pass through the door into the reception area. You have arrived!
